As part of our new research on muscle training and retraining have we recently made a bell boot test on different carefully selected muscles – on a horse that worked uneven in its right hip. The figur shows the result of just a neopren boot, a weight boot of 150g and the after effect when the boot came off.
It is very clear that tensor fascia latae (hip and sitting muscle) and Semimembranosus (bum muscle) get positively effected by the bell boot – being more coordinated and efficient. The rider also felt a positive difference while ridning with the bell boots and after they where thanked off.
Biceps femurs used a lot for canter was also effected positively .
We have tested this effect on several horses after with great succes! More results follows…
