Hilary Clayton Seminar on Equine Rehabilitation
At Universitetshospitalet for Store Husdyr, 2630 Taastrup
A fantastic day on Equine biomechanics and rehabilitation. Here the main fokus was on core muscle development and proprioception of especially hind limbs. Clayton explained how core muscles can develop through ground exercises and how to help horses with weaknesses in muscles and structure. Exercises can also be done on the horse, by fx backing it uphill or horisontal to the hill activating one side more.
A very interesting talk about proprioception with weights or small chains on the pastern to activate hinde limb reactions. See our own bell boot test here.
